The curriculum for the weekend program includes talks on Marketing, Pricing, Art Licensing, Copyright Protection, The Corporate Art Market, Wholesaling, Selling Art Online and Making Work that Sells. These lectures will be presented by well-known speakers who are faculty members of The Arts Business Institute.
On Friday, March 31, an evening reception at Blue Rain Gallery will kick off the event, featuring speaker Elizabeth Hulings, who will speak on “Artists as Business People.” A Saturday evening presentation is also scheduled. Lunch will be served each day, as well as a continental breakfast on Sunday.
An expert panel discussion will be held during the program, and personal business consultations are available for attendees as well.
Sponsor Betsy Ehrenberg of Bridges to Santa Fe says, “This event is appropriate for fine artists, makers and art educators, and introduces participants to art museums, galleries and a variety of multi-cultural venues in Santa Fe. We will showcase events where culture connects our artists to their vibrant community.”
