Watch Star Wars: A New Hope, dubbed in the Diné language and subtitled in English, with Albuquerque painter Ryan Singer! The screening will take place in our second-floor galleries, among the Star Wars-inspire artworks of Singer's Solo Exhibition Childhood Mythologies. The wall sculptures will feature Beiner’s characteristic floral forms, a porcelain garden of tactile blooms with allusions to architectural structures. The group exhibition Beyond Punch Cards was inspired by a woman who changed the world. Mathematician Ada Lovelace studied the complex engineering behind the Jacquard loom to invent the first computational algorithm in 1840.“The analytical engine will weave algebraic patterns like Jacquard looms weave flowers and leaves,” Lovelace said.
