Santa Fe International Film Festival (SFiFF) is the premiere forum for international and independent cinema in New Mexico. SFiFF serves as a creative center for film year-round, and as a presentation of the year's top films each October. On Saturday and Sunday, SFIFF will hold several panel discussions at form & concept. Film Office Panel

1-2pm

Laurie Richards, Nebraska Film Office; Brettlyn Bevenue, Cherokee Nation Film Office; Jennifer Labar-Tapia, Santa Fe Film Office; and Gay Dillingham, Chair of Santa Fe Film & Digital Media Commission. They'll discuss what film offices and film commissions can do to support filmmakers. 

 

Distribution Panel

2:30-3:30pm

Justin DiPietro, Head of Marketing and Distribution Cohen Media Media Group; Tom Sveen, Cinema Guild; and Sandrine Cassidy, USC director of Festivals and Distribution.

 

Filmmaker Panel

4-5pm

Filmmakers with narrative films in competition discuss their craft and what it takes to create an independent film.
