Artist, educator, and activist Chaw Ei Thein presents WANTED, a reflection on Myanmar's despotic military regime and a reconceptualization of the country's potential. This exhibition is an extension of Thein's tireless effort to support fellow Myanmar artists and the Civil Disobedience Movement in hopes of restoring power to Myanmar’s democratically elected leaders. The pieces in this exhibition interpret Thein's struggle against the repression of expression, and on the impact of social transformation.
