Kim Harrell is a silversmith and jewelry artist who makes distinctly textured and clean lined jewelry, hollow-ware and object d’art using precious metals and occasionally other materials. Originally from Denver, Colorado, Kim studied at the London Metropolitan University, Sir John Cass School of Art, Architecture and Design where she obtained her B.A. in Silversmithing, Jewelry and Allied Crafts in the United Kingdom. Currently a resident of Aurora, Colorado, Kim runs a professional designer/maker studio and teaches at The Art Students League of Denver, Community College of Aurora and privately in her studio. Her work can be found in private and corporate collections in the USA and Europe. The Kirkland Museum of Fine and Decorative Art (Denver) acquired her Moon Spoons in 2018 as part of their permanent collection.
